Braun Hospitality broke ground on its 86-room hotel in Florence

Last week, Braun Hospitality broke ground on its 86-room hotel in Florence, Oregon. This public-private partnership will bring about 30 jobs to Lane County during a slow construction season, and will add a dozen jobs to rural Florence for the years to come.

Additionally, the city will be able to increase its use of the Florence Event Center for multi-day events, bringing more revenue for local businesses during the non-peak tourism season. 

When government thoughtfully spurs investment in local projects - either through active participation or smart policy - everyone wins.

The hotel project will complete in January 2027 and be ready for first guests in March 2027.
